Spray Foam Insulation - The Easy Choice

Polyurethane spray foam is the most energy efficient and environmentally friendly option for your diverse insulation needs. Its unique ability to adhere directly to the substrate means that not only can it be applied anywhere that traditional insulation is used, it can also provide insulation for areas where other products are not practical or possible.

Energy Efficiency

Spray foam has the highest R-values in the insulation industry. With a higher R-value, you will see up to a 50% reduction in energy usage and heat loss. This is largely due to the fact that spray foam insulation provides a complete vapour/air barrier. So why not cut costs and create a greener home or business by using the Consumer Choice voted spray foam insulation in Edmonton and Alberta.

Structural Integrity

You can add to your building’s structural support with spray foam insulation. The insulation fills empty spaces and shores up walls. Spray foam also provides a barrier and protects from pests, rust, and mold buildup that can threaten a building and its occupants.

At J&G Urethanes/Superior Spray Systems we provide multiple types of spray foams and barriers to meet the diverse application that our customers require. Foams and barriers such as (click on heading to see Technical Data Sheet):

GENYK Boreal Elite: is a medium density spray-applied rigid polyurethane foam system insulation formulated without ozone depletion substances (Zero ODS). BOREAL ELITE has a global warming potential (GWP) of 1, which is 99.9% lower than current HFCs used in this industry. This system is formulated with plant-based materials, recycled products and lavender extracts. The lavender extracts generate a pleasant and fresh odour during the application. BOREAL ELITE is lime green in colour.

HUNTSMAN HEATLOK SOYA HFO: are two component, low GWP, closed cell, spray applied, rigid polyurethane foam systems. This foam product has been tested by an independent recognized laboratory and is the first product that surpasses the requirements outlined in the most recent and stringent standard CAN/ULC S705.1-15 “Standard for thermal insulation – Spray applied rigid polyurethane foam, medium density – Material Specification”

GENYK B-5019HFO: B-5019HFO / A-2732 is a two-component spray applied insulation polyurethane foam system, medium density specially formulated with hydrofluoro-olefin (HFO), the latest advancement in foam blowing agent technology. The HFO blowing agent used in B-5019HFO resin has a global warming potential (GWP) of 1, 99.9% lower than HFC blowing agents. HFO blowing agent is non-ozone-depleting and non-flammable. This system is an ASTM E-84 CLASS 1 Spray Foam System.

HUNTSMAN B217-00/A100-4: Huntsman Building Solutions’ B217-00/A100-4 is a two component, closed-cell, spray applied, rigid polyurethane foam system, specially formulated to meet the classification A of the ASTM E-84 at 4’’. This product uses recycled plastic materials, rapidly renewable soy oils, and the blowing agent has zero ozone depleting potential.

GENYK B-5023HFO: B5023HFO / A-2732 is a two-component spray applied insulation polyurethane foam system, medium density specially formulated with hydrofluoro-olefin (HFO), the latest advancement in foam blowing agent technology. The HFO blowing agent used in B5023-HFO resin has a global warming potential (GWP) of 1, 99.9% lower than HFC blowing agents. HFO blowing agent is non-ozone-depleting and non-flammable. B-5023HFO / A-2732 is a High Service Temperature polyurethane spray foam system designed to withstand service temperature as high as 300°F (149°C).
